• Implant Surgery: Under local anesthesia, Dr. Guillen will create a small incision in your gums to insert the titanium post into the jawbone. A cap is placed to guide recovery.
• Osseointegration: After surgery, a healing period of 3-6 months is essential. During this time, the implant fuses with the jawbone, forming a sturdy base for your new teeth.
• Abutment Placement: Once healed, a small connector is attached to the implant, connecting it to the final restoration.
• Crown Placement: The last step is securing a uniquely fabricated crown to the abutment, completing your new smile!
